I guess it's being in the UK, but I don't recognise the PDA and white labour day rule, but you are right - these all should be broken. I have i the past, and with some I stll do, and would recommend it. Rules wouldn't be created if people didn't do the stuff in the first place anyway. Ergo, a rule wouldn't exist if no-one wanted to do it.
